Go to the main index of photographs of Paris, or take a look at pictures of… All of these pictures are available as high-resolution TIFF scan files, and naturally, any of these pictures can be converted to black and white. Many others were taken at each photo shoot, so there are plenty of other choices if you don’t see exactly what you are looking for. Photography shoots can also be arranged in Paris and the surrounding regions… just ask!

A statue of Dalida in Montmartre, a few steps from where she lived. The square was named in her memory in 1997, at the corner of rue de l’Abreuvoir and rue de Girardon.

When first built, the fence around the royal domain of Versailles was 43 kilometers in length. Before the revolution, the gardens and woods of Versailles covered 8,000 hectares, this area today is 875 hectares.

Château Vaux-le-Vicomte was built in 1658–61 for Nicholas Fouquet, the finance minister of Louis XIV.

Charles Le Brun decorated the interior rooms at château Vaux-le-Vicomte with painted ceilings and tapestries by the Gobelins brothers on the walls.
