Many others were taken at each photo shoot, so there are plenty of other choices if you don’t see exactly what you are looking for. The Eiffel Tower seen behind a group of three statues entitled «Les Trois Grâces», made by Aristide Maillol in 1938. The statues were set in the Jardin des Tuileries in 1964, then moved to the Jardin du Carrousel in 1995.

Hundreds of the 20,000 lights flashing just after midnight on the Eiffel Tower. In the foreground is the equestrian statue of a Greek warrior at the southwest corner of the pont d’Iéna, sculpted by François Delvaux in 1853.

On the occasion of the Millennium Celebrations flashing lights were installed on the Eiffel Tower. Since then, the light show is a nightly event, and the 20,000 flash bulbs give the tower a sparkly appearance every hour on the hour.

Built in 1889 for the Exposition Universelle, the Eiffel Tower was the tallest structure in the world, at 300 meters.
