After the absolute triumph of being the first Irish person ever to sing in the Panthéon Paris, Maria Doyle-Cuche sang the Ave Maria again—in homage to Irishwoman Margaret Kelly (aka Miss Bluebell of the Lido), beside her grave in Montmartre Cemetery on June 23rd 2022. Maria wore an exquisite white dress, created for the occasion by Sean Byrne, Irish couture fashion designer who is based in Paris. The commemoration event was organized by Patricia Killeen and carried on later at le Café Blanche, just downhill from the Moulin Rouge.
Read an article written by Ms. Killeen and published in the Irish Times about this commemorative event. Patricia also wrote an article about the day of remembrance for Miss Bluebell, published in the Clare Herald
