Arriving for my appointment, I scoped out Pierre Corthay’s boutique before ringing the doorbell and entering what seemed to be the front door. Right away I found myself in the cobblers’ workshop… I said to the shoemakers that I imagined that I had not come in the main entrance. They said, “Oh, yes, yes!”. It turns out that their customer area is the next room, about the same size as the workshop.
