It was later the location of the Paris chapter of the American Legion.

The atrium at the Pershing Hall Hotel, at 49, rue Pierre Charron. The hotel is named after General John Pershing, the leader of the American Expeditionary Forces during World War I, whose headquarters were set up in the building.
