Water gushing from la fontaine de l’Observatoire in the jardin Marco-Polo.

Water spouting around the horses at the base of la fontaine des Quatre-Parties-du-Monde, also known as fontaine Carpeaux, built in 1874 in the jardin des Grands-Explorateurs Marco-Polo et Cavelier-de-la-Salle. Sculptures of women representing four parts of the world: Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, hold a globe above their heads.
