Older ladies used to come every day to feed the cats, bringing dozens out of their shelters.  

One of the few dozen wild black cats in the Jardin Lalanne behind the Forum des Halles’ Porte Lescot. I took this picture in January 2009, extensive renovations began in February 2011, on the gardens at first, various associations are trying to find people to adopt the cats.
