The trick is to lock up a bicycle where it is not exposed or accessible to wiseguys walking by.

A vandalized blue bicycle locked up at the corner of rue Simon le Franc. There are very many bicycles in Paris, though luckily vandalism is not a big problem. Here, the vandals have creatively turned this bike in to a cyclops.
