By the end of the day on July 29th, Parisian revolutionaries had taken control of the city. King Charles the 10th and the royal family were obliged to flee Paris.  

The names of 84 out of the 504 people who died on Thursday July 29th, the third of the «Trois Glorieuses» revolutionary days of 1830, engraved on the Colonne de Juillet in place de la Bastille.
