A car burning between pont des Arts and the Louvre, on quai du Louvre. The policeman fourth from the left in the group of people behind the car chided me for taking pictures of such a terrible incident in which someone could have died. The car’s owner is second from the left in the same group. Hardly any of her belongings were recoverable from the inside of the car.
